Working closely with your veterinarian, we provide expert rehabilitation to improve mobility, comfort, and quality of life. Our Story
Bounce Animal Rehabilitation Centre was founded by Sophie Currie with a vision to create a space where expert rehabilitation therapy is delivered with genuine compassion. Her goal is to offer personalised care, comfort, and renewed mobility to every pet and their family.
The Beginning
BARC began in a small consult room tucked inside a veterinary clinic. With just a modest space and a big dream, we started helping pets regain their strength and mobility, one session at a time.
A New Home
In 2021, we moved into our new location at 854 East Coast Road—a 1970s house with loads of character and even more potential. While it needed some serious work, we saw the opportunity to create something truly special.
The Makeover Begins
Armed with tools, vision, and a lot of determination, we dove into renovations. From gutting the old structure to upgrading drainage and laying new foundations, the transformation was full-on DIY meets heart and hustle. The modest DIY consult room and space was used until our big dreams could become reality.
Dreams Become Reality
In 2023 BARC was reborn. Now, the clinic includes multiple consult rooms, indoor and outdoor gym spaces, two hydrotherapy rooms, and a welcoming environment designed just for our patients and their people.
