Jack’s Story
Working closely with Jack’s family and veterinarian, he was treated for osteoarthritis in his digits and received cutting-edge laser therapy and EMTT for his lower back. These treatments help reduce inflammation, support soft tissue regeneration, and encourage nerve recovery. While degenerative nerve changes can be challenging to reverse completely, our therapies aim to encourage nerve regeneration and delay the onset of chronic disease.
Lovely Jack came to BARC to help manage hind limb weakness associated with lumbosacral degeneration, a common condition in many beautiful older patients. Jack also had arthritis in his front paw, which caused him to limp. The hind limb weakness made it particularly difficult for him to get up.
Although some conditions cannot be fully cured, they can be effectively managed. Jack now attends monthly maintenance treatments to maintain comfort and strength. He enjoys limp-free walks and moves comfortably around the house, allowing him to fully enjoy his daily outings with his dad.
